AOIBHA is a Belfast-based songwriter and musician with a singular voice in Northern Ireland’s alternative folk scene.

 

Inspired by the textured folk traditions of artists such as Cara Dillon and Joshua Burnside, AOIBHA's writing and production pulse with a gothic energy; weaving together intricate storytelling and evocative soundscapes.

AOIBHA was the Cathedral Quarter Artist in Residence for 2025 and is known for her 'low-key yet intense' full-band performances in iconic Belfast venues such as the Deer's Head and Belfast Empire.
